Buyer FAQ

The Questions Buyers Actually Ask.

Warranty, power, downtime, terms, and what happens if the numbers don't show up. Straight answers, no salesmanship.

What warranty comes with the hardware?keyboard_arrow_down

Non-moving parts — piping and cavitators — carry a 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Moving parts — the pump and oxygen generator — carry a 1-year warranty. Replacement parts are provided at no cost under warranty, and service is performed by certified Kairospace technicians.

How long from order to running system?keyboard_arrow_down

Typical lead time is 4–6 weeks from down payment to hardware on-site. Installation itself usually takes one to three days, because the equipment mounts inline on your existing piping. Large multi-phase deployments are scheduled in stages, in writing, before we start.

What does my site need to provide?keyboard_arrow_down

Three things: a dedicated GFCI-protected power circuit (the exact voltage and amperage — commonly in the 220 V / 30 A range — is specified in your proposal), access to the water line or reservoir at the injection point, and a mounting area for the skid. We handle the rest. See How Deployment Works.

Will installation interrupt my operation?keyboard_arrow_down

Minimally. Systems are designed as drop-in retrofits: tie-in to the line is scheduled around your irrigation or process windows, and the rest of the install happens off-line. Most customers experience hours of interruption on the treated line, not days.

What are the standard payment terms?keyboard_arrow_down

Commercial purchases typically run 75% on project confirmation and 25% on installation and commissioning. Pilots and lease-to-own structures have their own schedules, stated in the proposal. Agricultural buyers: AG tax exemptions apply where declared with a certificate.

What if the results don't show up?keyboard_arrow_down

That's what the pilot structure is for. We define success criteria and a measurement plan against your own baseline before deployment. If the delta isn't there at the end of a structured pilot, you stop — and you keep the data. When pilots convert, fees can credit toward the full system, up to 100% on structured trials. See Start With a Pilot.

Does this replace my chemical program?keyboard_arrow_down

It depends on the job the chemistry is doing. Where chemicals fight symptoms — biofilm control, algae suppression, some disinfection — our physics frequently retires most of that spend. Where chemistry is the product — fertigation, flotation reagents, process dosing — our injectors and static mixers make every unit you dose work harder through better dispersion and mass transfer. We'll tell you which applies to your case, with numbers, in the proposal.

What maintenance does the system need?keyboard_arrow_down

Cavitators and injectors have no moving parts and essentially no scheduled maintenance. Pumps and oxygen generators need biannual maintenance, performed by certified Kairospace technicians. Emergency support is available case-by-case.

How do I verify the system is doing what you claim?keyboard_arrow_down

Measurement is built in: optical DO meters with zero drift, pH probes, and data logging. Bubble size is characterized to the ISO 20480 standard. On pilots, you see the readings at every checkpoint — the results report is your data, not our marketing.

Can I finance or lease instead of buying?keyboard_arrow_down

Yes. Lease and lease-to-own programs exist — typically 3–4 month terms with a purchase option that credits the lease fees. Common for nurseries, beta programs, and first deployments. Ask for lease terms in your proposal.
