What does oxygen
actually pay you?

Put your own acreage, yield and water numbers in. The model sizes the system off your irrigation flow, prices it at indicative list, and shows what is left after energy and service — updating as you type. Every assumption is a slider you can argue with, and every one carries the study it came from.

Your operation

Pick a crop and the fields fill with typical numbers for it — then change every one of them to match your block. Harvest & handling is the field most calculators leave out, and it is the one that keeps this honest: extra tonnage still has to be picked, hauled, hulled and packed, so a yield gain is credited at margin rather than at gross revenue.

Water, power and inputs

Irrigation flow and pressure size the hardware. The cost lines below are what the savings levers get applied to — if your water is district water at $80 an acre-foot the picture is very different from a deep well at $1,200, so set these before you judge the answer.

How are you paying for it?

04

Value levers

Eight ways the system shows up in your books. Switch off anything that doesn't apply to your block — an honest short list beats a long optimistic one every time. The pale band inside each slider is the range the published trials actually cover; when you push past it, you are past the evidence.

Start from

Expected pins yield at ~25%, the figure Kairospace publishes as its field average — never a guarantee, and never worded as a ceiling. Conservative drops every lever that rests on thinner evidence. If a number has to survive a lender or a partner, run it conservative.

Sensitivity

The part that matters. Not "here is a number" but "here is how wrong the number can be, and which assumption is doing the damage." Everything below re-solves live against the levers above.

Cumulative cash position

Your settings, plotted against the full conservative-to-optimistic envelope. If the band clears zero well before the line does, the case is robust; if the two barely differ, your assumptions aren't doing much work.

What moves the answer

Each live assumption swung across the evidence band marked on its slider, measured in net present value. Whatever sits at the top is the thing worth pinning down before you buy — the rest is noise.

Payback in years — yield lift against market price

The stress test a grower actually runs: a soft market and a modest response, at the same time. Read down for yield, across for price.
